UFC 99 Franklin vs Silva fight, dubbed as THE COMEBACK, is scheduled on June 13, 2009 Saturday 3:00 PM ET live on Pay-Per-View (PPV) from the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany. UFC 99 is the first UFC event to be held in Germany, as well as the first in mainland Europe.
Two of the most great MMA fighters will battle it out, former UFC middleweight champion Rich 'Ace' Franklin will fight against former PRIDE champion Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva in a Catchweight bout (195 lbs). Also featured in UFC 99 is Cheick Kongo (replaces Heath Herring), to fight Cain Velasquez at the heavyweight division.
