President-Elect Barack Obama said on ABC News "This Week" that the family has narrowed their family dog choice to either a labradoodle or a Portuguese water dog (Portuguese water hound).
Labradoodles is a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a poodle that were first bred in the 1980's. Labradoodles are easy to train and come in variety of colors and sizes.
Portuguese Water Dog (Portuguese water hound) are breed of water dog similar to poodles. Portuguese Water Dogs worked on boats with Portuguese fishermen.
