Randy Jackson Journey? Randy Jackson Journey band member, former Journey bassist? wow, I didn't know that American Idol judge, Randy Jackson, was a former Journey band member.. Just today when American Idol season 8 journey, continue to Jacksonville Florida (Jacksonville audition), they open the show with some cool footage of Randy Jackson performing in Journey band in his "Journey" days. Well, I only know that our very own Arnel Pineda is now the lead singer of "Journey" band. hehe
