2009 Oscar Nominations for the 81st Academy Awards (Oscar) has been announced today. 2009 Oscar Nominations took place at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.
"The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" leads the Oscar nominees having 13 nominations in all including Best Picture.
"Slumdog Millionaire" which was expected by many to have the most nominations in the 2009 Oscar Nominations, received 10 nominations.
No luck for "The Dark Knight" except for Heath Ledger's Best Supporting Actor nomination. It was the only nomination that "The Dark Knight" received in the 2009 Oscar Nominations.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, Milk, The Reader, Slumdog Millionaire will be battling for the 2009 Oscar Best Picture Award.
The 2009 Oscar Awards/ Academy Awards presentation is on February 22, 2009 in a live telecast on ABC.
